The tools out there to help you find profitable or at least high-traffic keywords are now simply uncountable… With more appearing on the radar every day, even for free.

But unless you’ve been using them for years, it’s hard to know exactly what features you need for which part of the job. For instance, sometimes you need a huge list of targeted keywords to build tons and tons of pages with, or even just to throw in your AdWords account to run PPC campaigns on… This tool is NOT what you’d need in those situations.

Micro Niche Finder, like it’s name implies, was specifically made for finding hidden niches. And after testing over 20 different keyword tools out for this very task, I can happily say that this one does the best job of all in delivering those hidden gems.

How it differs from other KW research tools

Other KW tools that can (try to) do what MNF does, such as Keyword Elite, try to wear all hats at all time, which makes you wait for a very long time to process the data before you can make sense of them. For instance, KW Elite will first find 10,000 keywords for you, and then go searching for the data over many hours to report back to you at the end how profitable each keyword is.

I hate that part… I always yearned for a smaller, speedy solution that just reports back 100 or so highly-relevant matches and then lets you choose the ones from those that you want it to churn the data on.

And that’s really what Micro Niche Finder was developed to do. First you start by searching with one search term of any kind. It could be a really general term above your niche, or you could even use a “term of desperation” that helps you find profitable niches under ANY general niche out there. Then, it will bring back something between 50 and 150 KW phrases that have both interest and high relevancy, with their Broad Match numbers from Google. (Just the number of competition without quotes in a simple google search.)

From there you get to find out any or all of the following:

  • Exact phrase Count
  • Searches per month Count (Estimated by Wordtracker)
  • PPC Ad Cost(Directly from AdWords, great for knowing commercial interest)
  • Strength of Competition, which is the number of competitors on a Google Search Results page with lots of Incoming links, that actually WILL be competition to you.

It will find these numbers for you one at a time (Cherry-picking for speed) or even process them all for you in the background automatically… Even on just the terms you select up-front.

Basically, this tool is the ultimate in flexibilty and speed. If Keyword Elite is a big, powerful locomotive that can pull a thousand railcars behind it, then Micro Niche Finder is the sporty little Lamborgini Diablo that will get you exactly where you want to go without any possible delay.

How do I find Hot niches with MNF?

Not only is there a “Hot Trends” button right there in the software that will show you the top 100 Google hot trends at the moment for you to start your searches by, but I’m more impressed with the Terms of desperation that MNF supplies you with so you can find money-making niches for that aren’t already public knowledge.

For instance, one term of desperation might be “Alleviate.” If you pop in the word alleviate into MNF you’ll get back 100 or so KW phrases that people are searching for lately where they have some problem or symptom that they want to alleviate. -Such as heartburn or a skin rash.

Just that kind of search alone has already found me TONS of great little niches! It’s like taking candy from a baby, really… Because this software lets you find them easily and best of all, cherry-pick your results so you only have to spend the time it takes to find the good stuff, not waiting on the numbers to be churned for hundreds or thousands of other phrases.

Sounds too good to be true… Any Drawbacks?

Well, there is still no way to get search numbers from Google without filling in the captchas every tenth search or so. -This is a google issue though and not at all unique to Micro Niche Finder… Even Keyword Elite requires you to fill those in.

Also, in the current version of MNF (3.0.3) I noticed that sometimes the attention of the screen in Windows XP is difficult to get back after you go do something else like check your email while processing search numbers. There have been a couple of times that the program crashed and I had to restart it for this reason, something that the product maker assures me will be worked out in the next upgrade.

I already know which Niche I want to work in… Can this still help me?

Absolutely. Not only can you simply search your general niche keywords to find great keywords inside your niche, but you can couple a term of desperation with them to pull out the most profitable phrases there too!

The thing that I want to stress here is that no other software out there will give you such a great, highly-relevant set of keywords so easily and then let you cherry-pick the results for finding your best, most-profitable keywords.

Heck, I don’t even know any other tools at all that show you that “Strength of Competition” guage, which I now rely on like no other… With one glance you can know if that keyword is worth your time to compete over or not, making it the most important metric I rely on by far.
